Djurk Venter’s journey into motorsport began through a close friendship with Peter Lindenberg, who not only encouraged him to start racing but also built his first race car – a 1972 Ford Capri Perana – and welcomed him into Lindenberg Racing. While his daily life sees him working as a Chartered Accountant, his true passion lies on the racetrack.

He made his competitive debut in 2013, securing the Class D title in the Pre-74 Saloon Cars category of the Historic Racing Series. Over the years, his racing stable has grown to include a 1968 Ford Escort and a 1965 Daytona Coupe, both of which have seen success across various circuit and endurance events. From 2015 to 2017, he competed in endurance racing and has taken on the iconic Knysna Simola Hillclimb seven times.
