(Cape Town, South Africa) – Lindenberg Racing will bring a fleet of legendary Shelbys to the Cape Town Speed Classic on 25–26 October 2025, with their drivers set to make their mark on the inaugural event.
Behind the wheel, the team will showcase an impressive lineup: James Temple in the Shelby Daytona on Classic Car Saturday before returning in the Shelby GT40 for King of the Mountain Sunday, Paige Lindenberg in the Shelby Speedster, and Djurk Venter and Alistair Simpson in Shelby Cobras. Together, they form a multi-generational unit that blends proven experience with raw passion for motorsport.
The team enjoyed strong results at the Simola Hill Climb earlier this year, where Temple finished 2nd overall in H6, Lindenberg secured 3rd in A7, and Venter narrowly missed the podium in 5th. Lindenberg is looking forward to another unique experience at the event, being in her second trimester.
“There’s something really special about racing in Cape Town, and to be part of the first Speed Classic makes it even more exciting. It’s going to be a little different and extra meaningful for me, knowing I’m taking it on while in my second trimester.
